Good workout this morning. Backing slightly off from the peak workouts, so I guess I'm starting to taper a little already, but it was still a hard run this morning.
Planned:
15-20 minute warm up (9:00),
20 minute progression run (6:45),
15 minute warm down
Again, I modified it slightly to be more of a progression (if this was just a tempo run, why didn't they call it that..)
Actual:
15 minutes @ 9:00 pace
10 minutes @ 6:50 pace
10 minutes @ 6:40 pace
15 minutes @ 9:00 pace
6.3 miles in 50 minutes
Felt pretty good during the fast section; wasn't even breathing too heavily until near the end. Hope I feel that good on race day...
