4/26 easy run

Nice little run around the neighborhood this morning; it's going to be a gorgeous day outside. Pretty flat first mile to Rancho San Rafael, straight uphill second mile to the top of Ives, then back down Keystone. Stopped at the creatively-named Lake Park to run intervals, slaloming through the ducks and geese.

Planned:
30-35 minute run, finish with 6 x 20 second strides (mile pace) with 1 minute rests in between.

Oops - I just realized I ran the strides wrong. Oh well.

Actual:
25 minute run (8:15 pace)
6 x 30 second strides with 30 second jogs in between
4 minute cool down back home

As I read "slaloming through the ducks and geese" I fully expected you to say duck and geese poop. I pictured you slipping and sliding. I have memories of poopy shoes from that park. I hope the cool downs involve some stretching. You'll appreciate it when you get old.
