Taper week

Kinda came up with a plan to taper this week, although I don't really want to - my legs feel twitchy and ready to go. Got some of that beat out of them this morning, though. Here's what my week looks like:

Monday: XT (Rode my bike to work, 6-something miles each way)
Tuesday: 6-mile progression run; not too hard.
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Easy 3 miles
Friday: Rest
Saturday: Race

Here's this morning - I did a 9 minute mile to warm up, then two at 8:00, one at 7:30 one at 7:00, the a cool down mile at 9:00. Stupid treadmill stopped on me during the fifth mile, that's the spike you see there. Couldn't get it started, had to switch to another one.

Looks like a great taper plan to me! Stupid treadmill. Seems like they have some trouble at that gym you go to...

Yeah, I thought I'd found a pretty solid machine, but it's let me down a couple of times recently. Maybe I should just start running outside, all the time.
