Turkey Trottin'

Had a great run at the Sparks Turkey Trot this morning. Saw a few people I know - Amber and Dave from the library, and another acquaintance, Josh, who I didn't even realize was a runner (but who apparently just qualified for Boston - congrats!) It was a coldish, wet morning - rained pretty good last nigh - but turned out to be almost perfect running weather. Apart from the wet feet, and a few slippery spots, that is. I made my goal of breaking 45 minutes pretty handily, with a 43:16. New PR! Kinda proud of the splits below - fairly even pace throughout, with a little left in the last couple miles.

Headed out to in-laws now for well-earned feast. Enjoy, everyone!

Fantastic, Turi!
A very well executed plan and race!
Hey, just 19 more days and you'll be in the 39-minute range!
