Day 8 - Artificial daylight

As I'm sure most of you have gathered by now, I'm an early morning runner. I'm pretty used to running in the dark; checking my watch when I pas under a streetlight, etc. That's why it was so nice yesterday to actually get out for a long run in the daylight. This morning, though, I was back to my regular time - I left for a short run at about 4:30 AM. Ran from home down to the Truckee River, then up Arlington Street. All along the river there were lots of streetlights, and back through downtown it was lit up like daytime. It was almost a shock to cross over the hospital footbridge and be back in a sparsely lit neightborhood. Nice little short loop there, this morning, though...

Yeah, I still don't know how you manage to get up so early! Pure simple dedication~. :)

Yeah - dedication, insomnia, whatever... :)
