Day One - Starting slow

OK, the first day is out of the way. Only 29 more to go.

One of the goals I have for this month, other than the obvious (running every day) is to not run the same route twice. So this morning, I got one of my favorite, classic loops out of the way. 5+ miles, uphill to about the halfway point and then coasting back down. I didn't feel super strong this morning (in fact, I was tempted to turn off early and cut it short) but after the hill things got better.

I'll get some number crunching going after a week or so, once I have some data built up. Until then, I'll probably post a little status blog after my run every day. I don't know if I'll continue that through the whole month or not, though. I do usually post a WDYDT (What Did You Do Today) note on my profile at Athlinks, which sends to my Twitter page, and from there on to Facebook. (And if you can't find me there, you're not looking hard enough - it's not like I have a common name...)

Of COURSE you're going to make your "running everyday" goal more interesting by adding a "different route everyday" clause to go with it! :) I look forward to reading your WDYDTs~
