The leaves of Lorien do not fall idly

Did my long run this morning - first time I've gone over half-marathon distance in a while. Almost sixteen miles, down Virginia, out Plumb, along Mayberry, up Mae Anne, over McCarran and down Keystone. Felt good the whole way, although my shoulders are a little sore now from holding my arms up.

At one point, I had to stop because I couldn't believe my eyes. This leaf pendant was lying by the side of the road, looking for all the world like the "leaf of Lorien" that Aragon picks up in The Two Towers while tracking orcs into Rohan. I had to pick it up. And then kept an eye out for orcs...
